To He Who Waits by Joel | Jan 30, 2015 | Comics | 12 comments 12 Comments Foxlore on February 2, 2015 at 12:19 am Personally, once a beard gets going it’s too itchy for me too keep. But I’ve moved away from shaving simply because the cost of disposable razors seems to have skyrocketed in recent years. For the last year I’ve stuck to using a rechargeable beard trimmer a few times a week, which cuts the growth down to about a 7 o’clock shadow. joelduggan on February 2, 2015 at 12:34 am Normally I keep a short, stubbly beard too, about 3/8 of an inch. You’re right, it’s much easier and cheaper. Plus I don’t have a job that requires a constant clean shaven look. Right now though I’m rocking a full beard. Mainly because it’s cold in Canada! Also because… Well, because I can. pylgrim on February 2, 2015 at 12:57 am Was the storyline of the hot day finally scrapped? joelduggan on February 2, 2015 at 12:59 am I wrote myself into a corner as an exercise… That failed. I’ve managed to cobble together a decent way to wrap it up, but it was getting long in the tooth and I thought it better to produce more comics than slug out with the failing storyline. I think I have a way to bring it back in… Maybe. qka on February 2, 2015 at 2:01 am An old girlfriend was fond of saying “There are two kinds of men in this world: Those with beards, and those that don’t matter.” Yeah, I’m in the former. joelduggan on February 2, 2015 at 8:59 am Whiskers unite!
