And… We’re back!
I would like to take a minute to thank everyone for their patience over the last little while as I devoted the time needed to fulfilling the Indiegogo rewards for Starcrossed: Volume One. The last piece of the reward packages – the T-shirts – have fallen into place. You can look for more info on that in the next couple days. For now though, it’s time to get Starcrossed back on track!
Don’t forget, I will be at Strange Adventures Comic Shop in Halifax this Saturday, June 15th signing copies of my book. You can read the details in the blog below. Or visit the official book signing Facebook event page.
Hey Halifax folks! Busy on Saturday, June 15th? Come on out to Strange Adventures in downtown Halifax. I will be hanging out, meeting folks and signing copies of my book, Starcrossed: Volume One between 2:00PM and 5:00PM.
Cal and I will have lots of books on hand. You can pick up a copy at the shop. ($10) I will bring a set of pre-drawn and numbered Artist Editions for the day ($20) with a hand drawn sketch inside that I can sign for you in the store.
Strange Adventures will also be drawing for a door prize! Stop by the shop on the 15th for details on how to enter and you could win an original 9 x 12 inked Starcrossed drawing.
Brittney Sabo is the Minnesotan artist behind All Night, an on going online graphic novel. We had a chance to sit down and talk with her on Comics Coast to Coast a few weeks ago. Britt has a set up a unique world in which to tell her story and she does so with great visuals and fun, bold colors.
“The world has come to a halt. Day and night appear permanently fixed and the seasons never change. Whatever has happened to this world, has not ended humanity… on the day side of the planet life continues on. But things from the darkened half of the world have been slowly creeping further into the light…”
In 2010, Britt won a Xeric Grant to self-publish Francis Sharp in the Grip of the Uncanny!, the first big comic project she ever worked on. Since then, she has also printed several other smaller comics and works.
