This is the comic that I had planned to post last week… Before all hell broke loose. I’m still working on finishing it up. After a short chat with
James Anderson on Twitter today, I thought I would post the pencils for the whole strip first. The inks for this comic, along with a new comic for Monday, Augest 6th are in the pipeline.

Oh wow. I love that you’re showing us the work in progress. And yes, women’s volleyball is the only sport of the bunch that sounds like fun to watch. :-)
Thanks Saeed. I really appreciate the patience. It takes a while for me to complete a strip on a good day, let alone when I’m down for the count. I figured showing work in progress is a good way for me to keep new content coming on the site without killing myself in the process. Glad you like it!

Haha! I was actually going for the “Canada Olympic Team” look, but with black and white I can see how it would look like a hockey jersey. Especially in the rough! Something for everyone in each Starcrossed comic.
My girlfriend is a Leafs fan. I barely watch hockey unless it’s a live local Quebec Major Junior League game or World Juniors at Christmas time.
