Not to mention a well written comic. I’ll be back for more. Happy New Year. I’ll be listenin’ Joel on January 3, 2012 at 7:05 am Thanks Jack. I’ve been trying to get a big bolder with my blacks and the brush pen. The half tone patterns are easy to create in Photoshop. Just save any shade of grey as a black and white bitmap and you’ll get options to create a pattern. Lines. Dots. Diamonds. Whatever you want. Jack of Gulls Comic on January 3, 2012 at 1:00 pm That’s an awesome tip. I do the final setup of my comic in psd and cannot wait to try some things out. Thanks! James Anderson on January 3, 2012 at 10:27 am Great with the seven panels. That works really well. A lesser artist would have made it look too crowded. Nice work! Joel on January 3, 2012 at 11:05 am Thanks James! I had to mess around with thumbnails in the sketch book a bit. Technically I alternated panel 1 framed, 2 unframed, and so on, but the spot blacks hide that more than I anticipated.
