I won’t think any less of you. ;) Jared on June 21, 2011 at 9:10 am I totally laughed. Nothing like a good wang joke to start the morning. Great job as always. Joel on June 23, 2011 at 10:20 am Thanks Jared! My roommate (and possibly other readers) were a bit surprised by how blatant the joke was compared to my usual fare. Though, I did have a similarly blue joke a while back. Most of my stuff is pretty PG-13. Starcrossed 2011-01-24 http://www.animafax.com/starcrossed/2011/01/24/and-thats-no-bull/ I’m curious, how do readers feel when things get a bit racy? Jared on June 23, 2011 at 10:38 am For me it really depends on the intensity and frequency of those types of jokes. I don’t typically read racy webcomics just because it doesn’t appeal to my personality. This joke was fine because it was done in a classy way and your strip benfits from it because you don’t make those jokes all the time. Ultimately this strip is your baby so I’m not going to tell you how to raise it, but I know I can’t recommend really racy webcomics to others even though I may read it. It depends on how racy you get because the more you go down that road the greater chance you have of alienating a group of readers. Joel on June 23, 2011 at 11:40 am Thanks, I try not to be too blatant. I prefer clever humor over toilet or low brow. You have a good point too, Jared. I don’t plan to do this a lot. I am however happy that since Starcrossed is published online I can. Jared on June 24, 2011 at 4:12 pm “I am however happy that since Starcrossed is published online I can.” Amen to that! Mark Adam on July 27, 2011 at 3:37 pm So freakin funny. I often make fun of the “check out the pattern on my boxers” look. So lazy and irritating. Joel on July 28, 2011 at 2:18 pm Thanks Adam, I’m still somewhat confused by the physics of it all. Ha!
